FOR VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS

Hagar called Him El Roi which means ”the God who sees me in my affliction.” He is the same God who sees victims of trafficking in their afflictions. He sees their families. Our help comes from the Lord. Ps.121:1-2   Our hope comes from the Lord. He executes justice for the oppressed. He sets the prisoners free. Ps. 146: 5-7.  Our Lord supports the fatherless and widows and He thwarts the way of the wicked. Ps. 146:9. Pray for the safety of those who are trapped in commercial sex and labor trafficking. Pray for their families. Pray that God will free them from their oppressors. Pray that God will set them on a path toward restoration and healing.  Pray for criminal record relief success for survivors of trafficking so their life will not be hampered by criminal records that were the result of crimes they committed while under the control of a trafficker.

For conviction, repentance and salvation. “Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon”. Isaiah 55:7 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” John 1:9. Pray that God will open the eyes of traffickers to recognize the wickedness of their actions and turn from them to the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that God will prohibit their efforts in trafficking and they would know it is by His hand. Pray for their families. Pray for transformation their hearts. Pray for God’s justice for those who persist in trafficking.

Also do not mistreat or do violence to the stranger, the orphan, or the widow; and do not shed innocent blood in this place.” Jer. 22: 3. Pray that our law enforcement will recognize God as their creator and redeemer, Pray that He will protect them and give them wisdom and courage to do what is right.
